Week 11 Road to Beta
Dear Fellow Followers
Last week we had our Alpha playtest where students from other years came to play our game and test it out. Before the playtest began we ran into a few issues with our movement in which all of a sudden it stopped working correctly and it was really janky. However, we had to push ahead with the playtest anyway. After the playtest we learned that our game has a lot of serious problems that we have to fix. For example people didn't like how cryptic our tutorial was and they couldn't figure out how to use the drone. People did like our puzzles though and they said they felt smart after solving them which was a good thing to hear. With the Beta coming up in less than two weeks and many game design problems/bugs to fix and the fact we still need to add the final puzzle we have tons of work cut out for ourselves.
